Heavy-Duty Knapheide Dump Body Upfit
This truck is equipped with a rugged 9 Knapheide steel dump body, professionally furnished and installed on an 84 cab-to-axle chassis, built to handle demanding jobsite conditions with ease.
The dump body features 16 rigid fixed sides constructed from high-tensile 12-gauge steel, paired with self-cleaning top and lower rails for long-term durability and reduced material buildup. A 7-gauge high-strength steel floor provides exceptional load support, while the HY50 steel tailgate (12-gauge outer / 10-gauge inner) delivers added strength where it matters most.
A double-acting tailgate with single-lever control allows for spreading or dumping versatility, supported by integrated rear tarp hooks and front and rear board pockets for expanded hauling capability. The upfit also includes a full straight cab shield to protect the cab during loading operations.
Lifting power is handled by a Knapheide scissor hoist and subframe with rear hinge, powered by a double-acting electric-over-hydraulic system for smooth, reliable operation. The entire body is finished in black E-coat primer with black topcoat for corrosion resistance and a clean, professional appearance.
